This is an excellent interview and recommended to all Councilmembers and residents. The interview describes Market Value, Exemptions, “taxable” property value, Informal and formal tax appeal process, recommendations for data to provide for appeals, and insight into pending Texas Legislature changes. Bexar County has made strides for improved transparency and accessibility. I found this interview very informative.
