• Welcome to the message board of the City Council of Universal City. Section 551.006 of the Texas Gov’t Code allows communication or exchange of information between Councilmembers about business or public policy over which the Council has supervision or control if it does not constitute a meeting or deliberation. Fellow Councilmembers,

Considering drought measures for this evening, I thought it may be useful to determine how the Edwards Aquifer Authority calculates "future" pumping restrictions. This is FYI only and no action requested. Attached is an example of current data (as of today) from their website (Again FYI ONLY). Actual reductions are based on days that restrictions are in place. Calculator projects "future pumping" restrictions which can be offset by good rains over the recharge zone. Again this calculator is only presented FYI! The link is provided to the calculator website below. It is updated daily.
