Subject: 2017- AIR INSTALLATIONS COMPATIBLE USE ZONES (AICUZ) STUDY for Randolph AFB.
In anticipation of future discussion regarding Comprehensive Planning, it may be useful to review the 2017- AIR INSTALLATIONS COMPATIBLE USE ZONES (AICUZ) STUDY that may be found on our City website through the following link:

Randolph AFB contributes $1.15 billion to the local economy each year, with a reported employment of nearly 12,000 people (civilians and military). As the “Gateway” to Randolph AFB, the Council should understand the operational requirements for RAFB, particularly regarding compatible land use. Note the significance of compatible land use within the northeast APZ II within our City’s ETJ.

Section 551.006 of the Texas Gov’t Code allows communication or exchange of information between Councilmembers about business or public policy over which the Council has supervision or control if it does not constitute a meeting or deliberation.
